Canadian FinTech Firm Chexy Raises $4.1 Million to Expand Renter Incentives Program
In order to grow its renter incentives program, the Canadian FinTech firm Chexy has raised $4.1 million. A seed round of funding of $4.1 million Canadian dollars was announced today by Chexy, the pioneering rent rewards and payments platform in Canada.
Venrex was the company that spearheaded the investment round, and it was accompanied by contributions from Crossbeam Ventures, Groundbreak Ventures, Antler Global, and key angel investors in the fields of banking, real estate, and FinTech.
Chexy is the first platform in Canada that enable more than 15 million tenants across the country to pay their rent with the credit card of their choice. It was launched at the beginning of 2023. In addition to providing users with the opportunity to earn points and rewards, this cutting-edge technology also helps users improve their financial health by enabling automatic reporting of payments to Equifax, which contributes to an increase in individuals' credit scores.
Chexy's Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Liza Akhvledziani, highlights the company's dedication to promoting inclusion in the financial sector.
